Lincey Bernier, SNP

A nurse since 2006, Lincey has acquired experience in the emergency room at the Rimouski regional hospital center and in the dispensary with Inuit and Cree communities in northern Quebec. In 2014, she graduated with a master’s degree in nursing and a diploma in primary health care for nurse practitioners at the University of Ottawa. Her practice as a nurse practitioner specializing in primary care (NSPPC) in GMF and GMF-U in Saint-Jérôme as well as her experience in a private clinic are universal: pregnancy, pediatrics, chronic diseases, minor emergencies, woman’s health as well as the performance of multiple techniques. She has also contributed to the clinical preceptorship, teaching and supervision of NSP students and family medicine residents. In addition, telemedicine has been an integral part of the strings of her bow since 2017.

Her expertise and interests are mainly directed towards cases of minor emergencies, infiltration techniques, installation and removal of IUDs, acne problems, non-complex chronic diseases and overall client care.

Véronique Maher,  nurse practitioner specializing in mental health (MHSNP), offers her services at our clinic in Saint-Sauveur.

 

A nurse since 2005, Véronique quickly developed a strong passion for mental healthcare. Since 2010, Véronique has only worked with clients requiring psychiatric care at different levels. Her overall practice was diversified in CLSCs, specialized outpatient clinics, hospitals, detention centers and private clinics.

 

Véronique currently holds a role of clinical advisor, responsible for the development of nursing practice in mental health, continuing clinical education in addition to her practice in a private clinic.

Shella Moyse, SNP

Shella Moyse’s career in the health field began in 2006 as a nurse clinician in internal medicine. In 2010, she obtained her master’s degree in nursing education, which allowed her to become a professional development educator in nursing. She eventually felt the need to return to more direct patient care and so continued her education to become a primary care nurse practitioner. In 2018, she obtained a second master’s degree and a complementary diploma from the University of Montreal. This accomplishment allowed her to become a nurse practitioner in primary care and she has since had a positive impact in her various work environments, including GMF, CLSC, ITSS, TRT and telemedicine clinics.

 

Over the years, she has taken on several roles including that of preceptor, trainer, mentor and supervisor for the integration of SNPs and doctors, as well as the management of a team of SNPs. Aside from her interest in optimal health and wellness, she is also interested in women’s health and hormone therapy. Her expertise as well as her empathetic and global approach are greatly appreciated by her patients and colleagues.
