Dr. \u00c9ric Truffer, Neurosurgeon<\/h2>\n

Dr Truffer is a neurosurgeon at the Center Hospitalier R\u00e9gional de Trois-Rivi\u00e8res (CHRTR). He was head of the neurosurgery service at CHRTR from 2006 to 2014. He is a member of the CHRTR trauma committee and was vice-president of the Quebec Neurosurgery Association. He obtained his MD degree from the University of Sherbrooke in 1995 and his diploma in neurosurgery from the University of Sherbrooke in 2001. He is a graduate of the Royal College in neurosurgery. He completed further training in pediatric neurosurgery at Children’s Memorial Hospital in Chicago in 2002. He has been an examiner at the Royal College in neurosurgery since 2011. His areas of surgical expertise include pediatric pathologies, vascular neurosurgery (aneurysms, AVMs, carotids) Skull base and meningioma neurosurgery, complex cervical spine surgeries, intramedullary tumors, Chiari malformations, spinal and cranial neuronavigation, and minimally invasive spine surgery systems. His research areas include participation in the TOBAS study on AVMs.<\/p>\n

Carpal tunnel surgery by endoscopy<\/h3>\n
